July 05:22
The alarm goes off roll out of bed, brush your teeth, brush your hair dress yourself Drink your coffee, eat your toast and eggs it's time to go Head to the car, buckle up and put it in reverse Turn on the radio station that plays that same pop song Take that route to work you know so well it's left then right Someone always seems to cut you off, so flip them off Arrive at work at nine it's time to shine work till 5 Back at home but something is pulling you out the door call up your friends seeing if they wanna play all night no one picks up, that's ok you'd rather go by yourself Next town over has an open mic it's Monday night pick up your guitar it is time to shine play two songs to the drunks who don't know what the hell is going on suddenly you see a pair of eyes that strikes/stops you blind A half a smile that breaks you, makes you forget all your night got 5 seconds, make an impression and just Swallow your pride So try to buckle up cause it's time to shine Alarm goes off

Cebu Flower 05:53
Cebu flower perches on uncertainty searches on distant shores A dirty world does nothing catch them if you can before they disappear Cebu flower is a lonely bird human touch stains the nest A dirty world does nothing catch them if you can before they disappear flap away flap away and be loud I'll find you someday I'll find you someday so be loud sing away and be loud

A Wet Match 02:14
I'll talk with my hands this unsettled dance but who is to know? wandering thoughts which will grow Only once the one that counts whatever decisions you will bounce from the wrong one from the right one standing clear from an awkward fear Don't try to strike a match while it's wet, don't regret that you waited too long to replace a song all you need is a day to crawl into that window Face your fading light & save your energy These days are comforting cause you believe in your dreams Hope is not a word that you throw to the curb Someone is listening Someone is listening
4.
Cairo Time 04:53
the past is my distant enemy the present is my aging pet the future is my lover all that I know has gotten old a let down cure it's a little bit premature A lover's coma keep feeding the tubes used up minutes no response It's you that I want the past is my distant enemy the present is my aging pet the future is my lover Don't end up in a box that you'll never open Same place & same time I resent this silence presumed bored familiar disappointments used up minutes no response It's you that I want step by step, Side by side step by step, Side by side

Orion's Belt 04:26
We sense it all stars dance as one Don't stare at the suns 3 points away to float back home Satellites chasing after me Black fumes right in front of me It's getting dark and cold Orion's belt will guide us back home Airless sounds Give us a sense of now Swimming through the stars 3 points away to float back home Satellites chasing after me Black fumes right in front of me It's getting dark and cold Orion's belt will guide us back home
6.
Candle Trees 04:07
Cold souls in a winter's bloom wanna escape on my hot air balloon? A dim light across the way freefall down half moon bay Swim out and float with me The wax moon over the open sea You blew out the candle trees you wished for it all while you sit and dream. You know I think we have done this many times But we still don't got it memorized If only a wish couldn't sense all who beg all who beg I will not beg Swim out and float with me The wax moon over the open sea You blew out the candle trees you wished for it all while you sit and dream A faint smoke curl kinda looking like you A faint smoke curl kinda looking like you

Nausea 05:42
a room becomes a cell closed bars on a bed a boy who made mistakes a home to escape I'm dizzy with relief Don't dismiss this feeling I'm dizzy with relief Don't dismiss this feeling it's easier to pretend it's easier to forget Even an honest man must lie his welcoming denial Even an honest man must lie his welcoming denial I'm dizzy with relief Don't dismiss this feeling I'm dizzy with relief Don't dismiss this feeling

Wind down Wind down Wind down Find me in the lonesome house On a hill far from you away from you Find me in the lonesome house

about

Recorded in two weeks in the hills of Mount Tamalpais. These songs travel through everyday monotony, isolation, and common insecurities, to the sublime and beautiful, in the human search for answers. Explores themes of relationships, impermanence, and finding home. Will appeal to fans of Andrew Bird, Beirut, and Jose Gonzalez. A subtle blend of indie rock and world music with an acoustic folk backbone creates a timeless, nostalgic feeling of solidarity and hope. Featuring acoustic and electric guitar, piano, violin, horns, and dynamic vocals.
